Bio:

Walker’s not interested in talking in pubs about the glorious combat he’s seen.
He’s still deeply satisfied by simple things like walking alone through the woods he feels at home in, listening.
He’s not a young man anymore, he seems world-weary – but still quite vital.

Orphaned young, he has always prefered to spend his time alone. Half-elven, his childhood was neither pleasant nor memorable.
He has no formal military training, but he would say he can handle himself.
Self-reliant, and stubborn – as he’s rarely had to accomodate others. He’s got little time for socializing or getting chummy. Yet it’s suprising what doesn’t escape his notice.

On the rare change that occaision that someone earns his trust – or he decides to protect someone he’s gravely serious about it.
Given his abilities, he’s likely to volunteer to take point, or be that second pair of eys on watch… just don’t expect to get a lot of chit chat or personal history.
He’s always said he would spend his middle life and “silver years” wandering the woods.

What he’ll never share is that lately, he’s been having a recurring dream. In it, he lives in a small farm cottage. Children are reading, and a woman cooks dinner – she turns to kiss him – and that’s when he always wakes. He’s never seen her face. He doubts it’s an omen, just normal questioning a person does when they approach changes in life. If it weren’t such a vivid, and increasingly frequent dream, he’d have dismissed it long ago. The idea of having a family has never been interesting, but as the age when his physical prowess will fade looms, he’s growing more contemplative.

A pragmatist, he believes in keeping his options open, and covering his bases. He’s been taking the odd job tracking or delivering sensitive messages to put away enough cash away that he could make a “clean break” or some other drastic lifestyle change if he needed to.
Not that he plans to, or anything. It’s just good to have a little something put aside.
